Episode 53: Wrangell’s Park and Rec Director Lucy Robinson chatted with KSTK’s News Director Colette Czarnecki about upcoming events. This includes a sprint triathlon and a playground revitalization planning presentation. Additionally, the recreation and community center will close beginning May 5 for repairs and administrative needs. Although the pool will be closed until August, Robinson said the fitness center will reopen late May.

The department encourages health and wellness for Wrangellites, so they host activities that support that, like the Winter Workout Challenge and open gym for youth during winter vacation.
